If you finished sign-in in the browser, you will see a sign-in complete page with a token line. Copy that line, paste it in the field below, then save — this is the most reliable way on iPhone.
This field stays empty on each new visit. After you save, reopen settings from the watch: if the app has a token, a green “Google is linked” line appears at the top.
